James Brush, Ph.D., ABPP
Background
I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 1983. My Master's degree was from the same program in 1980 and I received a Bachelor's degree from Otterbein College.
I concentrated my training in child and adolescent psychology, including work at The Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, at Central Psychiatric Clinic, children's division, and at the University of Cincinnati Hospital Medical Center.
I worked for 9 years, managing the care and treatment of adolescents hospitalized on the Adolescent Psychiatric Treatment Unit of the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati. There, I coordinated milieu therapy, and performed individual therapy and family therapy for patients.
I have trained in divorce mediation and in Collaborative Divorce practice.
I am a past president of the Ohio Psychological Association and also past president of The Cincinnati Academy of Professional Psycholgy.
I have been in private practice for over 23 years.
